Playing Through the Year

On May 7th the Riverdale Band and Choir held their annual spring concert. The Riverdale Band and Choir have many concerts over the year including the fall concert, winter concert, Pops Concert, and their contest concert. The spring concert is their very last concert of the school year. The band played songs including: “In the Shining of the Stars,” “March of the Paratroopers,” “Air for Band,” and “Bryce Canyon Overture.” While the choir sang songs including: “Fly Away Home,” “Erev Shel Shoshanim,” “Elijah Rock,” and “Benedictus.” The concert went amazing. The band and choir also performed at Riverdale High School’s Graduation on May 18th at 1:30 P.M. The seniors in band and choir were featured in the songs “Great Locomotive Chase,” “One Voice,” and “In My Life.”
