Rams Pep Assembly

On Wednesday March 27th, Riverdale High School had a pep assembly to recognize all the success of the winter sports at RHS and to introduce the spring sports. The assembly started off with the band leading students and staff down to the gym at the end of 7th hour. Once everyone got to the gym, students watched a slideshow presentation of photos and videos to show off all the incredible accomplishments this school has made throughout the winter. Some of those achievements included girls basketball regionals, boys basketball regionals, wrestling state tournament, state speech, state scholastic bowl, and robotics celebrating winning the Inspire Award and making it to the Worlds Competition in Texas. It is a great achievement for Riverdale to be able to say we have brought home this many wins. After acknowledging all the winter sports, all of the spring sport captains came down to make a few announcements to start off the season. Sports like baseball, boys and girls track, and softball told us how their season has gone so far, and what to expect.  To end the pep rally, student volunteers come down to play a game. The goal was for the students to attempt to throw a pool noodle the furthest. It was a great end to the pep assembly and a way to get everyone laughing.
