Starting the Race

On August 25, 2025, the Riverdale Rams Cross Country team competed in their first meet at Empire Park! The boys' team finished in 7th place, with top runners including Braeden Bode, who placed 2nd with a time of 15:55; Conner Musser, in 27th place with a time of 17:57; and Nolan Peirce, in 45th place with a time of 18:37.

The girls' team finished in 4th place, with top runners including Ava Martel, who placed 9th with a freshman school record time of 20:28; Jillian Murray, in 11th place with a junior school record time of 20:56; and Ava Gaulrapp, in 15th place with a time of 21:08. The girls' team also broke the 5-person team school record! This group consisted of freshman Ava Martel, sophomore Ava Gaulrapp, and juniors Jillian Murray, Naomi Peschang, and Grace Schmidt.

The community can't wait to see what else this amazing group can achieve throughout the season!
