Dancing the Night Away!

On Friday, January 9, 2026, the Riverdale Dance Team had its opening dance performance! The girls have been working on their dance for three weeks and have perfected it to show the community what they have learned. This is a new team that went to the board to get the team started. The coaches of the team are head coach Danielle Powers, assistant coach Heather McGeehon, and manager Lili Arvanis. The girls danced to the song, “I Ain’t Worried” by OneRepublic and choreographed by Payton Hemm. The performance was everything the girls and their coaches wanted, and was very loved by the audience! The girls’ performance took place at a home boys basketball game against Mercer County.  The boys put up a good fight, but fell short 51-59.
