Future Doctors and Engineers Blast Off in Sixth-Grade Science Class

Sixth-grade students at Riverdale Middle School are taking their science education to new heights as they delve into the world of space exploration. Under the guidance of their teacher, Mr. Friedrichsen, these budding scientists and engineers designed and built their own NASA-inspired space rovers.

The project, has ignited a passion for science and technology among the students. They are eagerly researching the features of real-life rovers, such as Curiosity and Perseverance, and incorporating those elements into their own creations.

In addition to the technical skills they are developing, the students are also gaining valuable experience in problem-solving and critical thinking.

The project is not just about building rovers; it is about inspiring the next generation of scientists and engineers. Riverdale Middle School is committed to fostering a love of STEM education in its students, and this project is a prime example of that commitment.

The future is bright for these young scientists and engineers. With their passion for STEM and their hands-on experience, they are well on their way to making a difference in the world.
