Rams Take on Princeton

On Tuesday, January 27th,  the Riverdale High School Girls and Boys Basketball Teams both went against Princeton. The girls were home against Princeton, whereas the boys were away, at Princeton! The girls played a great game that ended with a score of 54-43, a great win for the Rams! Junior, Cayleigh Hungate,  says, “It was a very physical game, and Princeton had some great competitors, but we continue to push through adversity and play our game. We really stuck together as a team even when shots weren't falling, and we stayed calm when things got heated which is what helped us come out on top!” Then, at Princeton the boys had a very high scoring game of 87-75, but fell short against the Tigers.  They played hard and it was good competition between the two teams. Jackson Tegeler reached his career high of 39 points in one game! Tegeler also commented about how at one point in the 3rd quarter, it was only a two point game.
