The Homecoming Win

On Friday, September 26, 2025, Riverdale High School held its homecoming football game. The Riverdale Rams played the Orion Chargers. The Rams were able to get the win with a score of 42-28. Seniors, Gaege Hensien and Cean Beckett, and junior, Jackson Tegeler, all helped the score with multiple touchdowns! Junior, Jackson Tegeler, said, “We battled through adversity as a team and won as a team. ‘Why not Riverdale?” This has been a motto for the football team this year. Also, the cheerleaders did their annual homecoming halftime performance to “Remix Thunderstruck” by Moonlight. It was a very exciting time for the girls; they went to show the Rams fans what they had been practicing.  The Rams' next game was an away game on Friday, October 3, 2025, at Eire-Prophetstown.
