Riverdale High School Blood Drive

Riverdale High School Interact club hosted a blood drive for all highschoolers that wanted to give blood! It was held on Thursday, October 9th, in the high school library. The high school had Interact students volunteer to help the students who were giving blood and to make sure that they were well taken care of. The school ended up with 29 units of life saving blood, and if you still want to give blood and didn't get to give your donation that day, go to the Donor Center in Moline and you can tell them that you want to make a donation for the Riverdale High School drive. All of your donations will help RHS Interact reach their Lifesaving grant, this way they can help out organizations like Ann's Helping Hands and many more! One of the junior volunteers, Macy Gitchel, says ¨The drive went great and they are very grateful for all the people who gave a donation!” These donations will help save so many lives!
