Scholastic Bowl Starts Their Season Off Right!

Both the Riverdale High School varsity and JV scholastic bowl teams have had a great start to their conference season. On January 9th, both teams went up against both Orion and Sherrard at home. The varsity team defeated both teams, while JV beat Orion but fell short to Sherrard. Continuing their streak, both teams traveled to Mendota on January 12th to compete against Rockridge and Kewanee. Once again, the varsity team won against both teams. JV fought hard in a close match between Rockridge and lost 110-160. The Riverdale Scholastic Bowl Team continues to amaze us year after year with its countless state appearances. By the looks of their season so far, this year may be no different!
